The Sama-Sama Hotel at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport in Malaysia was one of the most beautiful airport hotels I had ever seen (and I also had a great breakfast buffet experience here!). I wasn’t staying long but I really wanted to check out their function rooms and garden.

There were glass walls through which guests could look out at the garden. There were so many trees that the whole space looked like a jungle.
There were many conference and function rooms at the hotel. One was called Equator and the name was written over the door.
The lobby also had signs showing the way to the different conference rooms.
I walked down a spiral staircase. The stairs had been carpeted and looked very elegant.
Then I looked inside the Gateway Ballroom. The doors were open and guests could easily peep inside.
It was a large and spacious ballroom with chairs piled up along the walls. I could see pretty chandeliers hanging from the ceiling.
The hotel was so large and there were so many corridors!
Boeing 1 was a smaller conference room that was perfect for corporate events.
There were several round tables and chairs scattered around the room.
There was also a stand for the speaker and whiteboard for presentations.
One of the function spaces had a wooden boat on one side. It was used as decoration and held several potted plants.
I went out into the garden next. There were so many tropical plants everywhere.
The water feature in the hotel garden was lovely. There were rocks and boulders all around and a waterfall at one end.
It was clearly visible from inside the hotel but there were also chairs and umbrellas in the garden in case guests wanted to sit outside.
I could see a lot of ferns and plants that loved warmth and humidity.
The koi pond was filled with dozens and dozens of fish.
They were all in bright shades of orange and red and were almost close enough to touch.
The waterfall gave me the feeling of being inside a forest.
I stood in the garden and admired the view for a long time. I had never seen such a beautiful hotel garden before.
Then I walked towards the patio.
There was garden furniture on the patio. The chairs and tables looked really comfortable and I thought it would be a great place to spend a summer evening or winter afternoon.
There were even some large umbrellas overhead to protect guests from the afternoon sun. It was a nice, private space to spend a couple of hours.
One side of the garden looked almost like a cave! There were big rocky formations outside and it led into a hotel corridor.
The corridor had been painted bright red and it also had silhouettes of trees painted all along the walls. It was a very unique sort of space.
I saw that the corridor led to the hotel gym, spa and swimming pool.
I walked down the corridor since I wanted to check out the gym too.
As soon as I entered the gym, I saw that the Sama-Sama Hotel gym had a lot of strength training equipment. There were machines to work out the arms and shoulders.
All the equipment was by Technogym and there were pictures to show which muscles were meant to be worked out.
There was a chest press machine as well.
One corner held a bunch of barbells and dumbbells arranged in neat rows.
The dumbbells were kept on a couple of racks and they were arranged in order from lightest to heaviest.
There was even a barbell with a curly bar. It was lying on the floor.
One side of the room had floor to ceiling mirrors.
There was hand sanitizer on the table.
Visitors could pour themselves a glass of water.
There were a couple of adjustable fitness benches.
The gym also had a lot of elliptical cross trainers.
They each had screens which guests could watch while exercising.
Then I went out to the hotel tennis court. It had a net all around so that the balls would not leave the court.
The door was open.
It was a spacious and really nice tennis court.
Finally, I checked out the exercise bikes and treadmills in the gym. There were quite a few of them.
